First Roll

What this is and what to expect.

Every roll of film starts in the dark. You load it, close the camera, and trust the process. The image already exists somewhere, you just have not seen it yet.

That felt like the right metaphor for starting this.

Developed is where I will put things that do not fit neatly elsewhere. Observations from research work that do not belong in a paper. Thoughts on tools and technology I am tinkering with. Maybe some pictures I have taken. No strict format, no posting schedule. Just things worth developing.

First rolls are always a little uncertain, but that’s the fun in it.
